Most frequent questions and answers
At the end of a course you will be given a Certificate of Completion. The Certificate of Completion will state the amount of time/hours typically required to complete the course. Your Certificate of Completion will automatically appear in the Certificate section of your Profile. Once you have received your Certificate of Completion you must submit it to your professional association in order to have your Continuing Education Credits/Units added to your membership file. Please note that if the course has been pre-approved for Continuing Education Credits/Units with your association it will clearly state so in the Course Overview. If the course has not been pre-approved for Continuing Education Credits/Units, you may have to submit the course for review (and approval) to your association prior to submitting your Certificate of Completion and receiving credits/units.
That depends on your association. While some associations offer half credits for online training, others consider the amount of time (hours) it takes to complete the course, regardless of the form of delivery. If our courses have been pre-approved for Continuing Education Credits/Units with your association, it will clearly state so in the Course Overview. If not, you may have to submit a request to your association to have the course reviewed before it is approved for Continuing Education Credits/Units.
If you are a member of one of the four RMT Associations of Alberta (CRMTA, NHPC, CMMOTA, or MTAA), then likely, yes! We do our best to have our massage courses submitted for Continuing Education Credit/Unit pre-approval with all Alberta RMT associations prior to the course being posted on our website. If our course has been reviewed and received Continuing Education Credits/Units through the CRMTA, NHPC, CMMOTA, or MTAA, it will clearly be stated in the Course Overview.
If you are from outside the province of Alberta, outside the country of Canada, or belong to a different professional association, there is a good chance that you will still earn Continuing Education Credits/Units for taking one of our courses. However, you may have to submit the course to be reviewed by your professional association first. To submit a course for review, fill out the form(s) provided by your association using the information found in our Course Overview section and submit the form(s) back to your association. If your association requires more information than we have provided in the Course Overview, please email us at [email protected].
